During my time at Never Summer, I not only designed everything for this event, but also got to play a large role in planning and executing The Night Slasher Banked Slalom. Partnering with Hoedown Hill, we decided to call it the Night Slasher after deciding to do it in the evening under the lights. After coming up with the name, I created this design to embody ‘Night Slasher’ with a grim reaper formed out of mountains and a Banked Slalom course, and hand-drawn lettering to match. After the initial poster design, I also created t-shirts for the event and a custom one-of-a-kind snowboard that went to one lucky raffle winner. Finally, to pay a nod to Hoedown Hill, the winners of this event received hand-painted, golden hoes (the garden variety) as trophies.
